No personal information needs to be provided by you in order to use this site. However, if you would like to access, book or take advantage of certain special services we offer, some personal information will be requested from you. These cases include the following:

Message Boards
You will be required to register in order to make posts on our message boards. As part of the registration, you must provide a valid email address. The email address is used for confirming your registration details and password and for sending new passwords should you forget your current one. You have the ability to keep your email address hidden from other users by selecting that option within your user profile. Also in the board registration, you have the option of providing some additional information such as occupation, interests, and personal website. This information is made available to other message board users to foster a sense of community. If you have any concerns about providing this information, simply leave the fields blank and your registration will still be processed. Please note that the IP address of all posts is recorded.

News Letter
When you subscribe to our email newsletter, you will be asked to provide your email address.

Cookies
Certain activities on Hotels Angel involve the use of 'cookies' to store information on your local computer. Cookies serve to facilitate your experience. This includes retention of your username and password for the message boards and tracking new posts since your last visit to the boards. If your browser doesn't support cookies, or if you have cookies turned off, these preferences will not be set.

Bookings
In order to book certain services through Hotels Angel, such as sightseeing tours, bicycle tours, or accommodation, you will be asked to provide your full name and email address so that we have a way of contacting you. When booking accommodation, you will also need to provide your credit card information in order for your reservation to be held.

Contests
If you are the winner of a contest, we will ask for your mailing address so that we can mail you your prize.

Affiliates
An Affiliate is a website not owned or operated by HotelsAngel.com, but uses HotelsAngel.com's booking capabilities for processing travel reservations. The HotelsAngel.com name may or may not appear on the Affiliate website.

Disclosure of Personal Information
Hotels Angel does not disclose your personally identifying information to any third parties without your prior consent. If you are booking a service that is provided by one of our partners (such as a sightseeing tour or accommodation), your information will be made available to the respective partner.
It is important to know that when you voluntarily provide personal information (e.g. last name, address, phone number) in a posting on the message boards, that information will become publicly available and may be used by someone in a manner unintended by you. For that reason, we discourage that you offer any personally identifying information in your message board posts.

Correcting/Updating Personal Information
If a user's personally identifiable information (such as zip code, phone, email or postal address) changes or if a user no longer desires our service, we provide a way to correct or update a user's personally identifiable information. Users can all email our Customer Support at Customer Care or by contact us by telephone or postal mail at the contact information listed below.
